Te Puna Quarry Park holds or participates in several events throughout the year such as those listed below:

FUNKY JUNK DAY:

NEXT: Sunday 11 March 2012

This event is usually in March and is hosted by The Tauranga Environment Centre.

The main attractions are the many exciting and interesting things made out of 'junk' that are entered in the competitions held on the day.

QUARRYFEST:

NEXT: Sunday 4 November 2012

QuarryFest is held on the 1st Sunday in November each year and features craft stalls, food stalls, and entertainment in the amphitheatre. This is the Quarry Park's main fund raiser for the year and is a popular family day out.

TAURANGA GARDEN & ART FEST:

The Quarry Park takes part in the bi-annual Tauranga Garden and Art Fest held in November. The next Garden and Art Fest will be in November 2012.

Carols at the Quarry is held in the Amphitheatre usually at the beginning of December, This event is put on by Te Puna Quarry Summer Trust and is performed by a local choir.

TE PUNA QUARRY SUMMER TRUST

HERB DAY:

The local Herb Societies have occastionally held an open day at the Quarry Park in March to mark Herb Awareness Week, usually in conjunctin with Funk Junk.

Te Puna Quarry Summer Trust facilitates the holding of events at the Quarry Park.
